Flying in tandem means flying as two people. Next to you there will be an experienced and qualified pilot.

The instructor pilot, who will manage the take-off phase, indicating exactly what to do, will be positioned behind you. The seat in the comfortable harness is reserved for you, where you can take a pleasant sitting position, which allows you to enjoy the whole landscape and free flight, as if you were a solo pilot. Tandem paragliding is an activity suitable for everyone. No previous experience or particular physical skills are required. Anyone can do it. Even in case of disability, contact us and we will carefully and professionally evaluate the feasibility of the individual situation.

The day of your flight has arrived. The meeting point is at the valley station in the town of Malcesine, , on the Malcesine-Monte Baldo cableway..

You will find our pilots ready to welcome you and accompany you on the ascent with the cable car, which lasts about 20 minutes. Remember that the cable car ticket is included in the price of the tandem paragliding flight.

Once you reach the top, the take-off point is a few minutes' walk away.

Once all the equipment has been prepared and checked, with your pilot you will carry out a short and simple briefing on the actions to be taken for take-off, flight and landing.

At this point you just have to walk/run for a few steps down the slope - to which you must actively contribute - and in a moment you will find yourself already in flight, enjoying the sound of the wind, sitting as if in an armchair, in our harnesses.

You will fly along Monte Baldo, until you reach the vertical above the waters of Lake Garda..

After 20-30 minutes of flight and, if you want, some acrobatic action, to give yourself an additional dose of adrenaline, you will gently land on our landing field, with an ease that always leaves you surprised.

At the end of the flight you will receive videos and photos of the activity, which are also included in the price. You can then return to the cable car with a walk along the lake for about 20 minutes or by taking the Tourist Bus, a public connection service within the municipality of Malcesine.

We recommend leaving well in advance in the months of June, July, August and September because of the heavy traffic that develops for the summer season and weekends.

Frequently Asked Questions

how much does a flight cost and which services are included?

The cost of a tandem paragliding flight is € 170 and our policy is zero surprises. The price includes everything necessary for carrying out the activity, i.e. the cablecar ticket, insurance and the use of technical equipment such as helmet, harness, gloves and jacket if necessary, and the video of the flight.

how long does a flight last?

Thanks to the difference in altitude of 1700 m - one of the highest in Europe - we can guarantee a minimum duration of about 20 minutes. If the wind and sun conditions allow it, we always try to take advantage of the upward currents to prolong the two-seater flight as much as possible, even up to 35-40 minutes. The most common duration is 25-30 minutes.

i suffer from vertigo. is that a problem?

It is not possible to suffer from vertigo while flying. During a tandem paragliding flight you are in a seated position and reclined slightly backwards. This makes it very comfortable and stable. Vertigo originates from a combination of contrasting messages between the sense of sight and that of balance, located in the ear. This signal error cannot occur during the tandem flight, since the sitting position is very stable and, moreover, we tend to look forward rather than downward.

what clothing is needed?

For a tandem paragliding flight, comfortable and sporty clothing is required, with sneakers or mountain boots. The use of sandals or flip flops is not allowed. Keep in mind that that take-off point is around 1750 metres above sea level, where it can be significantly colder than in Malcesine, even in the summer months. We therefore recommend using slightly warmer clothing than normal. It is not possible to carry bulky objects such as hiking backpacks or large bags on the flight, but a small bag, pouch or soft backpack can be stowed in special pockets. Unfortunately, we do not have a luggage storage room.

what happens in case of bad weather?

In the event that the pilots judge the weather conditions inadequate for carrying out the activity, the flight will be canceled. In this case you can reschedule your flight in the first available slot. Usually we try to inform you about the weather conditions as soon as possible (a few hours before the appointment), but, in some rare cases, it may happen that the flight is canceled at the meeting point, or even once already arrived at the take-off area.
